At Williamston Barns we have hosted significant birthdays (every milestone from 30 to 90), momentous wedding anniversaries with extended family and special reunions among friends. Enjoy a celebration dinner in the large dining room, which will comfortably seat all your guests. With generous living space there is plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy their stay as well as gather together to celebrate.

If you love to cook we have big modern kitchens in both the Barn and the Cowshed, fully equipped with range cookers and brilliant for entertaining family and friends.
Book a grocery order or case of wine for delivery when you arrive. Despite our remote location, supermarket deliveries, including Waitrose, will bring all your requirements straight to the door. Local farm shops are the best option for local Northumbrian and Cumbrian produce ensuring you enjoy the area’s best produce.
Our dining room in the Barn opens out onto the terrace and garden and will comfortably seat a large party with uninterrupted views across our pastures. In winter, light the log burner and candles and enjoy a cosy night in.
In House Cuisine
Enjoy a freshly prepared dinner delivered straight to your kitchen ready for you to heat and enjoy. We have a number of in-house chefs who can prepare simple suppers right the way through to more elaborate dinner parties for you and your guests. Please contact us in advance for details.
Both the Barn and the Cowshed have charcoal barbecues for outdoor use, either in the garden or in the cobbled yard.
Eating Out
Our local pub, The Kirkstyle Inn, is included in one of our local walks and provides hearty lunches or suppers for hungry walkers. Do call in advance to check opening times and book a table - 01434 381559. Shooting Parties
Williamston Barns is perfectly located for all the renowned shoots of the North Pennines. With exceptionally comfortable bedrooms and plenty of space for gathering together, you will have all the comfort and relaxation you need after a day spent shooting with friends.
We can provide hearty breakfasts and delicious shoot dinners made from locally sourced produce, or we can leave you to self cater in our fully equipped kitchens. Have your wine delivered prior to your arrival or enjoy a specially prepared Northumberland cheese board.
We know and understand the particular needs of shooting parties – everything from drying rooms for wet clothes, through to kennels and washing facilities for gun dogs. Stay an extra day and enjoy fishing our one mile stretch of the South Tyne.
