We had the most amazing time in Williamston Barn and Cowshed. We were celebrating our daughter's 50th birthday and the accommodation was amazing. The kitchen was so well equipped and all the beds were so luxurious with en suites in every one. It is a beautiful area for lovely walks and our weather was sunny and warm. The outside area was super complete with rope swing and grass area where the chin played football. We had a barbecue so the outside dining area was perfect as was the dining room which seated 14, It was sooo perfect. Thank you so much.

We recently stayed at Williamson Farm Barns, in the Cowshed. We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The Cowshed is just amazing with everything, and I mean everything, that you will need for a great stay. The beds are very comfortable, showers are great. There are simply no negatives whatsoever. There are some lovely walks right on the doorstep and well worth doing. Viv was there if needed and ran through the amenities etc on arrival. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. We can’t recommend The Cowshed highly enough, it’s simply awesome!!

A beautifully converted barn (next door to a slightly larger barn) which is on a working farm. It's quite remote, therefore very quiet and with amazing dark night skies. It was incredibly cosy and warm. The facilities are modern and smart. Great walks from the doorstep in lovely countryside. The added advantage is having the Kirkstyle Inn about 10 mins drive away with fabulous food and great views. We really enjoyed our long weekend. Thank you.

We had a lovely time with the 3 generations of the family. Plenty if space for us all. We were able to entertain family for lunch,who live nearby totaling 20, due to the generous facilities.

Stunning property, so peaceful and quiet and the house itself is perfect beautifully decorated and well maintained, and has everything you need. Loved the fire it made it so cosy, lovely walks nearby. Beds are super comfortable too.

We had a wonderful week at Williamston Barn. It was the most beautifully idyllic location near the South Tyne river rambles over rocks between the moors. The Barn has been converted very comfortably in a sympathetic style. The beds and towels were so comfortable and so much had been well though out. We would love to come back again!

The accommodation, when put together, is fantastic. Really good for a large group. Two kitchens and sets of equipment was really useful. Especially the two Dishwashers. The big table allowed us all to eat together in a perfect setting.

We have had a fabulous week at Williamston Barn. The accomodation was perfect for the celebration of a very special birthday for my husband. A special mention for the powerful showers and super comfy beds. ...all the family commented on these!!! Ben the farmer was so welcoming to the farm and was so lovely with the grandchildren who will retain happy memories of feeding the lambs in the barn. The walks and surrounding countryside are just beautiful and a special meal at the Kirkstyle is also worth a mention to future guests. We had the Duckhouse prepare a special meal in the Barn and again we can highly recommend them for outside catering. Jack the chef was delightful!

Williamston Cowshed

Lovely location, beautifully set out. Easy access so long as you check roads and are wary of sat nav routes to sites on Hadrian's wall and Carlisle location.

Our party had a wonderful time staying at The Barn, Slaggyford - what a gorgeous conversion and it was just perfect for our needs. The house was super clean when we arrived, and the cake and beer were a much-appreciated welcome.

It was a great location to explore the North Pennines and we took advantage of the daily good weather to get out every day.

The only suggestion we would make is to change the glass doors between bedroom and bathroom, particularly the downstairs bedroom - it doesn't allow for any privacy at a time when you may want some!. A solid door or a half glass door would be preferable or at least frost the glass.

No complaints at all about Crabtree & Crabtree - the service has been excellent throughout the whole process, and we would certainly use you again and highly recommend you to others.

The perfect place for a family celebration - beautifully converted buildings in a dramatic location, and very comfortable. Loads of room for relaxing. The facilities are excellent: great showers and baths, large, comfortable beds, well-equipped bathrooms and kitchens. We went on some great walks and enjoyed a pub lunch at the Kirkstyle Inn.
