Our beautiful historic hay Barn dates back to 1832 and has been transformed into stunning modern accommodation offering uninterrupted views of the valley and the dramatic fell side. Living accommodation extends over two floors providing lots of space to spread out – perfect for a large group of friends of family.

Our large open plan kitchen is brilliantly equipped for entertaining, and opens on to our garden accessible dining room, which enjoys the evening sun – great for large parties wanting generous space for a dinner party.  Upstairs you will find living space with great views across the pastures where you can relax or enjoy a movie (we have a cinema surround widescreen TV and a great choice of DVD’s in front of our wood burning stove.  Wifi is provided throughout the Barn.

Four double bedrooms sleep up to 8 are all en-suite all with king size beds (which can be made into twins).

For larger parties, combine The Barn with The Cowshed for groups of up to 14.

Your own private South facing terrace and garden looking out over pasture.  The terrace has garden seating with barbecue and table for outdoor dining.  Two large sycamores provide shade and a chance to swing in the sun.
